DESCRIPTION:As ever unmissable\, the 2020 Three Castles Trial from 2nd – 5th June 2020 will again be based in the attractive seaside town of Llandudno.  Competitors will enjoy three days of competitive rallying in a special\, relaxed format. Their cars will cover up to 500 miles on smooth surfaces\, visiting many of the most attractive locations in North Wales and travelling over scenic rally roads. \nCompetition will take place over around a dozen regularity sections and twenty or so driving tests on private land\, some new to the event. Just as important\, hotels\, lunch halts and evening venues will be of a sustained high quality\, for an enjoyable all round experience that’s very hard to beat. SUMMARY:Llandudno Transport Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Llandudno Transport Festival is held on the sea-front showground in one of the most picturesque bays of the UK. Llandudno is Wales’ largest resort and famed for its Victorian style and Edwardian elegance. \nThe Transport Festival is the largest in Wales and one of the U.K.’s best-loved events. It is held in conjuction with the Victorian Extravaganza. Costume\, vintage fairground and a host of attractions combine in a unique annual celebration of transport and entertainment heritage within the town. The two events are linked by a free shuttle-bus service. \nSaturday\nThe Saturday road run normally takes in a tour of the World Heritage town of Conwy\, via Llanrhos and Deganwy. Further details of the Saturday road run will be available on the Festival Field during the late afternoon. \nSunday\nSunday sees two major events\, there is the annual Crosville gathering of buses\, coaches and enthusiasts ancient and modern and the Extravaganza street parade of walkers in costume\, cyclists\, marching bands\, entertainers and traction engines to circle the town. The spectacle lasts almost an hour. \nOn Sunday evening the second road run normally takes place around the celebrated Marine Drive for superb coastal views and most unusual photo-opportunites. The half-way stop by the ‘Rest and be Thankful’ cafe is a transport spectacular in itself. There will be more information on whether the road run takes place on the Festival field. \nThe Extravaganza street parade around the town is repeated at midday on Monday \n

DESCRIPTION:Spend a day rediscovering the charm of authentic Welsh pubs and unique Welsh real ales\, without having to worry about who’s driving! The Conwy bus based real ale trail runs twice a year\, upcoming Trail is on 2nd May\, with next year’s Trail planned for September. The Trail takes you to some of the best pubs and microbreweries\, found in the villages dotted around Conwy County. The route is always changing – new pubs and new ales are added to every Trail\, so there’s always something new to experience. \nWe specialise in Real Ale Festivals for people who like small independent pubs mixed together with the local microbreweries and we arrive in Conwy twice a year. We like to tempt thirsty visitors from home and afar with our Ale Trails\, because people like to be taken to smashing pubs bursting with character\, some of which you’ll probably have not visited (the quirkier the better in our books as they look after the ale well). \nIf you’re a fan of a good day out with good mates\, locally brewed ales or pubs bursting with character\, then this one day moving beer festival will be right up your street. \nFirst\, buy a ticket online or at any of the participating pubs on the trail. Tickets are £15 in advance and £18 on the day. Grab some friends who are great company and make you laugh\, board the bus with your ticket (singing is not compulsory but we encourage it) and prepare to enjoy a day of quaffing local ales\, sampling the food and entertainment and joining in with the singing on the bus\, discussing the merits of fine ale and going home happy. Don’t forget to take some pictures too! \nA ticket gets you unlimited travel all day long\, and if you are brave you can go around the route as many times as you like. The Kings Head is a traditional pub that provides a warm and friendly atmosphere\, excellent cask-conditioned ales.

DESCRIPTION:March for Veterans returns for another bracing 10 mile yomp around the coast line of Llandudno\, led by ‘The Lads’ – an incarnation of our iconic Victory Over Blindness statue\, brought to life by members of our rehabilitation team. \nThis March is not a race – it’s about being part of a group walking together and working towards raising vital funds to support the work we do at our training and rehabilitation centre in Llandudno rebuilding the lives of veterans after sight loss. \nStep off from our Llandudno Centre with the encouraging cries and bell ringing of Llandudno Town Crier\, and Blind Veterans UK Vice President\, Billy Baxter. Head for the Promenade where you will be joined by some of our blind veterans to make your way to the cenotaph\, up and around the Great Orme before returning to the Llandudno Centre for a well-earned brew up. \nMarching is\, of course\, optional. We would in fact encourage you to simply walk\, ten miles is a long way to keep that up after all.
