Welsh Highland Railway – Halloween Train

Trains run from Porthmadog (FR) on October 27th, 28th and 29th, and Caernarfon (WHR) on October 27th only.

From Porthmadog you catch the Ghostly Train to Tan-y-Bwlch – the Little Station in the Big, Dark Woods – for an evening of Frantic fun, Fireworks and – possibly – ‘things that go bump in the night’!! Not forgetting the Fancy Dress – and a Hot Supper from the Creepy Café.

From Caernarfon, ride the Ghoulish Train for an evening of Spooky goings-on, Frantic fun, Fireworks and (possibly) ‘things that go bump in the night’ aboard the Welsh Highland Railway. Folk band Dixie Hicks will entertain on the train and at the Snowdonia Parc Brewpub

Drinks and refreshments are available from our licensed buffet cars during the journey as well as from either Tan-y-Bwlch café (FR) or at the Snowdonia Parc Brewpub (WHR) – where a Fiendish Feast will be prepared for you to enjoy!!

Halloween Trains leave Porthmadog at 18.00 and bring you back to Porthmadog for 21.30, and leave Caernarfon at 18:30 and bring you back to Caernarfon for 21:00.
