Terra Firma
April 24, 2018 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
£12 – £14
Choreography by Caroline Finn, Marcos Morau and Mario Bermudez Gil Terra Firma tells stories drawn from the very ground on which we build our communities;
The Green House brings the outside in; on a Wes- Anderson style TV set, the ‘stars’ are stuck in a neverending loop. Beautifully unsettling and full of character.
Atalaÿ is a watch tower from which far off lands can be seen from four points; a contagious dance influenced by the warmth of the Mediterranean.
Tundra is a barren landscape where ultra-modern creativity blinks into life and tears pages from Russian folk dance and revolution.
With post-show talk
Angharad Harrop: Lle – Pontio’s White Wall, After Terra Firma
Creu Cymru’s ‘dance buddy’ scheme pairs up independent dance artists with a theatre or arts centre. Through dance, film and sound, Pontio dance buddy Angharad Harrop’s ffilm Lle takes the audience on a journey finding the hidden places and spaces of Pontio. An exploration of site and sight, this playful film questions our perspectives and provides new angles from which we can view Pontio’s architecture.
