National Youth Orchestra of Wales – 70 Years Young!
In 2016 the oldest national youth orchestra in the world celebrates 70 years of first class music making, and returns to Venue Cymru to showcase the fantastic talent of its members.
The Internationally renowned Carlo Rizzi conducts the Orchestra in a wonderful programme which includes a specially written piece by NYOW Alumnus Gareth Wood, in celebration of the Orchestra’s incredible milestone anniversary.
