Family Halloween Fun – The Rook Wood mystery

The rooks have left the woods and moved into the castle, an omen of bad fortune…or is there something more sinister driving them away’ Help us find out why…before it’s too late! Join us this Halloween for some frightful fun at the castle. Follow our mystery trail (for all ages); see what’s cooking in the Victorian Kitchens; Facepainting (4), shadow stories and crafts in the Stablau. NEW FOR 2017 – Ten minute terror tales Suitable for 8 years + (8-15 must be accompanied by an adult) Bookable on the day at the castle, first come basis 1 per person per tale. Booking Not Needed.
A National Trust Event – Gates open 10:30. Start 10:30. End 16:00. Free Event but Normal Admission Charges Apply. The ten minute terror tales meeting place will be in the Grand hall, outside the dining room. Check website for latest information.
