Ian Mitchell – Linescapes Exhibition

Our series of solo exhibitions celebrating contemporary printmaking continues in Gallery 6 with Yorkshire based Ian Mitchell. Ian's limited edition digital prints celebrate the landscape of the North Wales coast and countryside. The stripped back reality pays homage to early 20th century travel posters and the artist's keen interest in German and Swiss design aesthetic.

The Colwyn Bowling Festival has developed into one of the largest bowling festivals in the United Kingdom, hosting 7 major tournaments. Eirias Park in Colwyn Bay is the main host of the festival which is set within 50 acres of beautiful parkland. The main tournament within the festival is the George Davies tournament which was established in 1931 and is a mixed singles competition open to all bowlers.
